Let The Holidays Begin!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. We spent the weekend celebrating the holiday season.  My daughter and I decorated our very own gingerbread house. The house was a success despite my little one eating the icing as we were sticking on an assortment of candies and peppermint sticks. The next day my little angel performed in her Christmas tree lighting concert at school. We enjoyed hot cocoa and cookies before the show. The children processed down the church aisle with lanterns and sang a variety of Christmas carols, each adding their own style to the rendition. To conclude the evening, we all joined together. around the giant tree in front of the school and counted down to a brilliance of colored lights that concluded in holiday cheer from the congregation. We all wished everyone a Merry Christmas and my little angel had a smile from ear to ear which is always my Christmas wish!
